JLR is having so many problems with their 2.0 ingenium Diesel engine timing chain failures that Korean authorities have gotten JLR to issue a recall for substandard quality parts failing (Timing chains) due to excessive failures. Supposedly the timing chain systems were updated in 2019. Repair reports were showing the 2019 model mostly did not Jaguar - head office is pretty dire but a good service centre can make the difference. If you have a good local person, that can help also. Not really heard of problems with the F-Pace Reliability - The BMW will be better but it might not be able to handle bad roads. The Jag might be better since it has a lot of Land Rover inputs.

As for the engine, the new Range Rover SVR is rumored to have the BMW tt 4.4L so it is possible that they stick that in the 2024. If they do, there will be some noticeable performance gains but I can guarantee
